Bowman & Company CPA was voted Best Tax Preparer by The Baltimore Sun, Readers’ Choice. The readers’ choice winners received the most votes during an online poll after being nominated. Winners were highlighted online and in print in The Baltimore Sun Magazine in May 2020.
Best of Howard County 2019
Bowman & Company CPA was voted Best Accountant by The Baltimore Sun, Howard Magazine. More than 38,000 votes were cast in the 2019 readers’ poll, culling a list of the 75 top people to know, places to go and things to do.
North Allegheny High School Distinguished Alumni in Business Award
Tom Bowman was honored for his outstanding professional accomplishments in the area of Business. He was recognized for his expertise and dedication to the field, as well as his significant contributions for the advancement of his community.
American Heart Association Annual Top Walker Awards
Tom has been recognized every year since 1996 as a leading individual fundraiser for the Greater Baltimore Heartwalk, having raised upwards of $100,000. He has also served on the local chapter Board and served as co-chair for the local event.
Maryland Small Business Administration – Accountant Advocate of the Year Award
Tom was honored to win this award twice. He was recognized for providing a better economic and financial climate for small businesses in the state of Maryland.
Professional Association of Small Business Accountants Lifetime Achievement Award
Each year, the PASBA Board nominates and selects a member to honor with the Lifetime Achievement Award. This is a prestigious award that recognizes a member who consistently embodies the spirit of the organization (“Teach, Share, Learn”) and consistently strives to meet our commitment to our small business clients of “Many Strengths, One Goal”.
